۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
