It is He who made the earth submissive to you; therefore walk in its tracts, and eat of His provision; to Him is the Uprising. 15 Do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up while it shakes? 16 Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not loose against you a squall of pebbles, then you shall know how My warning is? 17 Those that were before them also cried lies; then how was My horror! 18 Have they not seen the birds above them expanding (their wings) and contracting (them)? What is it that withholds them save the Beneficent Allah? Surely He sees everything. 19 Who is he besides the Most Beneficent that can be an army to you to help you? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion. 20 Who is he that can provide for you, should He withhold His provision? Aye! they persists in perverseness and aversion. 21 What! is he who goes prone upon his face better guided or he who walks upright upon a straight path? 22 Say: He it is Who brought you into being and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts: little is it that you give thanks. 23 Say, "It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered." 24 And they say: when will this promise be fulfilled, if ye say sooth? 25 Say, "God alone has knowledge of that; and I am only a plain warner." 26 But when they see it drawing near, the faces of those who deny the truth will turn gloomy and they will be told, "This is what you were calling for." 27 Say, [O Muhammad], "Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?" 28 Say to them: “He is Merciful, and it is in Him that we believe, and it is in Him that we put all our trust. Soon will you know who is in manifest error.” 29 Say, "Have you considered if your water were to sink into the ground, who could then bring you flowing water?" 30
