Indeed We have sent down the Qur’an upon you, in stages. 23 So wait patiently for the command of your Lord and do not yield to any sinful or disbelieving person among them (people). 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 and during some of the night, and prostrate thyself before Him, and extol His limitless glory throughout the long night. 26 Surely men love what hastes away and forget the grievous day (ahead). 27 We have created them and have given them strength. Had We wanted, We could have replaced them with another people like them. 28 Verily this is an admonition; then whosoever will, may choose a way unto his Lord. 29 But you will not unless God wills; surely God is ever All-knowing, All-wise. 30 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will and as for the Zalimun, (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) He has prepared a painful torment. 31
