Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 We have made it [the Quran] easy, in your own language [Prophet], so that you may convey glad news to the righteous and give warning to a stubborn people. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
