Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
