Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 Their faces will be scorched by flames, and they will grin and scowl within it. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
