And the heaven! We have built it with might, and verily We are Powerful. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
