[Useless, though, will be his repentance: for [as long as he was alive] he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray [for enlightenment,] 31 But he belied and turned away. 32 Then he went back to his home in pride. 33 Woe to you, [O man!], yes, woe to you. 34 then nearer to you and nearer! 35 Does the human think he will be left to roam at will? 36 Was he not once just a drop of discharged sperm. 37 Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him] 38 And of him He made two sexes, male and female. 39 Does He then not have the power to bring the dead back to life? 40
