Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 until you come to the graves. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have occupied yourselves in worldly things) 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8
