And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come]. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
