But what is the matter with those who deny the truth, that they come hastening towards you 36 On the right and on the left, in groups? 37 What, is every one of them eager to be admitted to the Garden of Bliss? 38 Certainly not! They know quite well out of what We created them. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 to replace them by others who would be better than they; and We shall certainly not be overpowered. 41 Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened; 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised! 44
