The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 "So fear Allah and obey me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss. 181 Weigh with correct scales: 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 Fear Him who created you, and the generations of the ancients.' 184 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched, 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 “Therefore cause a part of the sky to fall upon us, if you are of the truthful.” 187 He said: My Lord is Best Aware of what ye do. 188 In response they denied him – therefore the punishment of the day of the tent* seized them; that was indeed a punishment of a Great Day. (The clouds formed a tent and rained fire upon them). 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 191
