Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
