But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 and by what you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
