Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 noble scribes 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
