The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Striking! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 Raging Fire. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
