AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
