۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 and drowned the other party. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
