Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
