Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say, "It is great news 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
