The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 In extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
