Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 and ease my task for me. 26 and my tongue fluent 27 so that they might fully understand my speech, 28 "And give me a Minister from my family, 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 Increase through him my strength 31 and let him share my task, 32 "That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint, 33 And remember Thee oft. 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 He said: "Moses, your petition is granted. 36 And certainly We bestowed on you a favor at another time; 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 Place him in a chest and throw it into the river, and thereupon the river will cast him ashore, [and] one who is an enemy unto Me and an enemy unto him will adopt him. "And [thus early] I spread Mine Own love over thee - and [this] in order that thou might be formed under Mine eye. 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 And I formed thee for Myself. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 Go both of you to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel. 43 Speak to him with gentle words; perhaps he will ponder or fear' 44 The twain said: O our Lord! verily we fear that he may hasten against us or wax exorbitant. 45 Answered He: "Fear not! Verily, I shall be with you two, hearing and seeing [all]. 46 So go to him and say: 'The two of us have indeed been sent by your Lord. So let the children of Israel come with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a token from your Lord. Peace on him who follows the way of guidance. 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each (created) thing its form and nature, and further, gave (it) guidance." 50 Said [Pharaoh]: "And what of all the past generations?" 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 54
