Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
