And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
