Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
