۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
