Verily We created man of potter's clay of black mud altered, 26 And the jinn, We had created them afore of the fire of the scroching wind. 27 And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud. 28 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down making obeisance to him. 29 So, the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together. 30 save Iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated themselves. 31 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What happened to you that you stayed apart from those who prostrated?” 32 He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud." 33 (Allah) said: 'Begone, you are accursed! 34 Upon thee shall rest the curse, till the Day of Doom.' 35 He said: 'My Lord, reprieve me till the Day they are raised' 36 He answered: 'You are among those reprieved 37 “Till the Day of a well-known time.” 38 He said: my Lord! because Thou hast led me to err I will surely make things fairseeming unto them on the earth and will surely seduce them all: 39 “Except those among them who are Your chosen bondmen.” 40 (Allah) said: "This is the Way which will lead straight to Me." 41 Verily as for My bondmen, no authority shalt thou have over them, except the erring one who follow thee. 42 And indeed hell is the promise for all of them. 43 There are seven gates in it, and to each gate a portion of them has been allotted. 44

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
