And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
