NAY, but consider the moon! 32 and the night when it retreats 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 A warning unto humankind 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 in Gardens they will question 40 About the guilty: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.
