The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
