And assuredly We have created human being from ringing clay of loam moulded. 26 and the jinn before (the human being) of smokeless fire. 27 Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape; 28 When I have completed shaping him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall you down before him in prostration." 29 All the angels prostrated themselves, 30 But Satan did not; he refused to join those who prostrated themselves. 31 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What happened to you that you stayed apart from those who prostrated?” 32 Iblis replied, "I did not want to prostrate before a human being whom You have created out of mud-moulded clay". 33 Said Allah, “Therefore exit from Paradise, for you are an outcast.” 34 And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense." 35 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 36 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 37 "Till the Day of the Time appointed." 38 "O my Lord," he said, "since You have led me into error I'll beguile them with the pleasures of the world and lead them astray, 39 "Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 40 God said, "This is the path which leads straight to Me. 41 over My servants thou shalt have no authority, except those that follow thee, 42 Surely, Hell is the place to which they are destined, 43 To it are seven gates: for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned. 44
