ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 We have made it [the Quran] easy, in your own language [Prophet], so that you may convey glad news to the righteous and give warning to a stubborn people. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
