O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 Verily this your order is one order, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone in their dark ignorance for an appointed time. 54 Do they think that We are helping them by giving them children and property? 55 Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive. 56 Those who tremble with fear of their Lord; 57 Who believe in their Lord's revelations, 58 and those who associate naught with their Lord 59 and those who give to others what has been bestowed upon them with their hearts trembling at the thought that they must return to their Lord; 60 These race for the good things, and they shall win them in the race. 61 And We tax not any person except according to his capacity, and with Us is a Record which speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. 62 But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing, 63 To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring. 64 Supplicate not this day! Assuredly ye will not be helped by Us. 65 My signs were recited to you, but upon your heels you withdrew, 66 waxing proud against it, talking foolish talk by night.' 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or know they not their messenger, and so reject him? 69 Or do they say that he is possessed? In fact, he has brought the truth to them, but most of them abhor the truth. 70 If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and corruption! Nay, We have sent them their admonition, but they turn away from their admonition. 71 Or dost thou ask them for tribute? Yet the tribute of thy Lord is better, and He is the best of providers. 72 You are surely calling them to the right path. 73 but those who do not believe in the Hereafter are ever prone to deviate from the Right Way. 74 ۞ Were We to be merciful to them and remove from them their present afflictions, they would persist in their transgression, blindly wandering on. 75 And already We overtook them with chastisement, but they were not submissive to their Lord, nor do they humble themselves. 76 Until when We shall open upon them a portal of severe torment, and lo! thereat they are desparing. 77
