Is he whose breast God has expanded unto Islam, so he walks in a light from his Lord...? But woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of God! Those are in manifest error. 22 God has sent down the best Message: a Scripture that is consimilar and oft-repeated: that causes the skins of those in awe of their Lord to creep. Then their skins and their hearts soften at the mention of God: such is God's guidance. He bestows it upon whoever He will; but no one can guide those whom God leaves to stray. 23 Is he then who has to guard himself with his own person against the evil chastisement on the resurrection day? And it will be said to the unjust: Taste what you earned. 24 Those before them had denied, therefore the punishment came to them from a place they did not know. 25 Allah let them taste degradation in this present life, but the punishment of the Everlasting Life shall be greater if they but knew. 26 We have indeed propounded for mankind all kinds of parables in this Qur'an that they may take heed. 27 A clear discourse which expounds all things without any obliquity, so that they may take heed for themselves. 28 Allah puts forth a similitude: a (slave) man belonging to many partners (like those who worship others along with Allah) disputing with one another, and a (slave) man belonging entirely to one master, (like those who worship Allah Alone). Are those two equal in comparison? All the praises and thanks be to Allah! But most of them know not. 29 Indeed you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) will taste death, and they (the disbelievers) too will die. 30 Then on the Day of Resurrection you will dispute before your Lord. 31
