۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in hell. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
