And could you but see when the guilty shall hang down their heads before their Lord: Our Lord! we have seen and we have heard, therefore send us back, we will do good; surely (now) we are certain. 12 Yet had We so willed, We could indeed have imposed Our guidance upon every human being: but My word shall come true: "I will fill Hell with jinns and men all together." 13 So taste (the evil of your deeds). Forasmuch as ye forgot the meeting of this your day, lo! We forget you. Taste the doom of immortality because of what ye used to do. 14 Only those believe in Our signs who, when they are reminded of them, fall down prostrate and proclaim the praise of their Lord, not waxing proud. ۩ 15 Their limbs do forsake their beds of sleep, the while they call on their Lord, in Fear and Hope: and they spend (in charity) out of the sustenance which We have bestowed on them. 16 And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do. 17 Shall he, therefore, who is a believer, be like unto him who is a transgressor? They are not equal. 18 As for those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds - gardens of rest await them, as a welcome [from God,] in result of what they did; 19 And those who are lawless – their destination is the fire; whenever they wish to come out of it, they will be returned into it, and it will be said to them, “Taste the punishment of the fire you used to deny!” 20 And most certainly We will make them taste of the nearer chastisement before the greater chastisement that haply they may turn. 21 And who is more unjust than he who is given good counsel through the Signs of his Lord and yet he turns away from them? Surely We will exact full retribution from such criminals. 22
