What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
