The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
