Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 But does man not remember that We created him when he was nothing before? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell); 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor. 81 No! Those "gods" will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement]. 82
