Blessed is He who, if He please, can give you better things than that; gardens watered by flowing streams, and palaces too. 10 No, they belied the Hour. We have prepared for him who belied the Hour a Blaze. 11 When it sees them from afar, they will hear its raging and roaring. 12 And when they are cast, bound together into a constricted place therein, they will plead for destruction there and then! 13 [But they will be told:] "Pray not today for one single extinction, but pray for many extinctions!" 14 (Muhammad), ask them, "Is what you want better or the eternal garden promised to the pious ones as their reward and dwelling? 15 Abiding there forever, they shall find in it all that they desire. This is a binding promise which your Lord has made. 16 The day He will gather them together as well as those whom they worship besides Allah, He will ask: "Was it ye who let these My servants astray, or did they stray from the Path themselves?" 17 They will submit, “Purity is to You – it was not rightful for us to appoint any Master besides You; but You gave them and their forefathers usage to the extent that they forgot Your Remembrance; and they were indeed the people who destroy themselves.” 18 Thus will your gods deny alI that you are professing today. Then you shall neither be able to repel your punishment nor shall get any help from anywhere; and whoso is guilty. of iniquity'' among you, We shall make him taste a severe torment. 19 We never sent before you apostles who did not eat food and walk the market places. We make some of you the means of trying the others. So will you persevere? Your Lord is always watching. 20
