The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
