۞ Say: O My slaves who have been prodigal to their own hurt! Despair not of the mercy of Allah, Who forgiveth all sins. Lo! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. 53 And return [in repentance] to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you; then you will not be helped. 54 Follow the best of what has been revealed to you from your Lord before the chastisement suddenly comes upon you without you even being aware of it.” 55 lest any human being should say [on Judgment Day,] "Alas for me for having been remiss in what is due to God, and for having been indeed one of those who scoffed [at the truth]!" 56 Or should say: If Allah had but guided me I should have been among the dutiful! 57 or lest he should say, when he becomes aware of the suffering [that awaits him,] "Would that I had a second chance [in life,] so that I could be among the doers of good!" 58 Aye! My communications came to you, but you rejected them, and you were proud and you were one of the unbelievers. 59 And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allah (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners, etc.) their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant ones? 60 But as for the God-fearing, Allah will deliver them on account of their achievements: no harm shall visit them nor shall they grieve. 61 God is the Creator and Guardian of all things. 62 the keys of the heavens and the earth belong to Him. Those who deny God's revelations will surely be the losers. 63
