The Comet (Al-Taareq)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 - Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is! 2 - The piercing Star! 3 There is no soul which is not guarded (by the two angels who record all of its deeds). 4 So let man consider of what he is created: 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 which comes out of the loins and ribs. 7 Surely He (the Creator) has the power to bring him back (to life). 8 A day when the secrets will be examined. 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By the rotating heavens 11 And the earth which opens up (with verdure), 12 Verily! This (the Quran) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil). 13 And it is not a thing for amusement. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 and so am I: 16 Let, then, the deniers of the truth have their will: let them have their will for a little while. 17
