Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
