We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
