The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Recite in the name of your Lord Who created, 1 created Man of a blood-clot. 2 Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,- 3 Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)]. 4 Teacheth man that which he knew not. 5 And yet, but yet man is rebellious, 6 because he thinks that he is independent. 7 Indeed, to your Lord is the return. 8 What is your opinion – regarding him who forbids – 9 A slave when he prayeth? 10 Seest thou if he is on (the road of) Guidance?- 11 Or enjoins piety? 12 What do you think? Have you seen if he belies and turns away, 13 Does he not know that God observes all things? 14 By no means! If he desist not We shall seize and deal him by the forelock 15 the lying, rebellious forehead! 16 Then let him summon his council, 17 We too would summon the braves of the army. 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
