Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
