Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth did not avail him, nor his acquisitions. 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
