Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a right way. 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
