Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
